Unpack

Archives, opened. Storage, explained.

What it does

Opens what other apps won't

ZIP, RAR, RAR5, 7z, TAR, GZ, BZ2, XZ, ZST, LZ4, ISO, CAB and LHA. Password-protected and AES-encrypted ZIPs. Split archives, reassembled. Archives are detected by their contents, so a renamed download still opens.

Makes ZIPs

Select files or folders and compress them. Free, with no limits and no watermark.

Shows where your space went

What's using space by category, your biggest folders, and the largest files on the device — with an honest account of what Android hides from every file manager.

Finds duplicates safely

Matched by content, not by name, and compared byte for byte before anything is offered for deletion. One copy of each is always kept.

Privacy

No internet permission

Not a promise — a permission the app does not have. Android apps without it cannot open a network connection at all, and you can check for yourself in Settings → Apps → Unpack → Permissions. No accounts, no analytics, no ads.
